GoldieBlox, the toy and media company founded to get girls interested in STEM, faced the challenge of scaling a new but strategically important email program with a small marketing team. To grow subscribers and drive engagement without adding headcount, GoldieBlox partnered with Emma, Inc. to deploy email marketing services, lightbox signup forms, and automation that would better convert site visitors and deliver a cohesive brand experience.
Emma, Inc. implemented a Privy-powered lightbox that converted 3% of site traffic and added over 7,000 subscribers, redesigned welcome emails (welcome clicks +8%, opens +6%), and built automated journeys and backend integrations for the new app and a “Birthday Club.” Targeted campaigns like Galentine’s generated 10% of monthly sales, the app announcement drove 10% of downloads, and overall open and click rates rose ~6% and ~8% respectively — all enabled and supported by Emma, Inc.'s services and technical team.
