Central College, a four-year private liberal arts college, wanted to optimize its Giving Tuesday fundraising emails and move away from broad mass mailings. They partnered with Emma, Inc.’s email marketing platform and a Client Success Manager to develop a more strategic approach centered on audience relevance, segmentation, and personalized messaging.
Emma, Inc. guided Central College to implement segmented email series, A/B subject-line testing, send-time and “from” name optimization, and on-brand templates. The campaign raised over $80,000 on Giving Tuesday (their most successful to date) and delivered exceptional engagement — including a 59% open rate on one send and a 75% open rate on a follow-up — demonstrating clear, measurable impact.
