KIKO Milano, an Italian professional cosmetics brand, launched an in-store customization concept letting shoppers personalize products (lipstick, mascara, brushes) and packaging with predesigned icons and custom text. The project needed real-time 3D previews of engravings and text, full 360° exploration of packaging, and engaging real-time animations (for example, caps opening) to give customers a realistic preview before ordering.

KIKO chose Emersya’s platform and worked with agency Reload to publish photoreal 3D models, enable live color, graphics and text customization, and add animated product interactions via API integration. At checkout the selected options and vector files are sent to an in-store 3D printer, so customers preview, confirm and receive their engraved personalized product during the same visit, creating a seamless, interactive retail experience.
