Dainese - Customer Case Study

Dainese, a maker of protective motorbike apparel, wanted to extend its Custom Works bespoke service online so customers could design made-to-order leather suits with the same control professional racers have. The challenge was to let shoppers instantly explore an almost unlimited number of combinations, view high‑quality 360° previews, upload custom logos and text in real time, and see dynamic price updates as they configured their suit.

Using the Emersya platform and a custom interface from agency Reload, Dainese defined editable zones on 3D suit models, enabled color and accessory options, and allowed on‑the‑fly image/text uploads — all rendered in a browser-based Interactive 3D viewer via a simple JavaScript API. The configurator auto‑focuses the camera on selected parts, updates prices live, generates screenshots and a unique configuration code, and saves selections to Dainese’s back office, delivering a seamless, high‑fidelity customization and ordering experience.
