Global Health Organization launches PPE app for 200 roles with Emerge Interactive

Emerge Interactive was hired by a global health organization to address a critical challenge during the COVID-19 pandemic. The customer needed a mobile application to provide frontline healthcare workers across different countries with clear, reliable instructions on proper personal protective equipment (PPE) usage to ensure their safety and that of their patients.

The solution was the design and launch of the native medPPE app for iOS and Android. Emerge Interactive created a user-friendly directory covering nearly 200 roles and scenarios, guiding users to the correct combination of six PPE items. The app, supporting four languages and offline access, was powered by GraphCMS for real-time updates. This allowed a small team to distribute updated PPE guidelines globally within minutes, leading to more efficient resource allocation and helping to protect thousands of healthcare workers and millions of patients.
