NCR Corporation, a global provider of self-service kiosks, ATMs, POS systems and other retail and financial solutions with more than 150,000 orderable products across 130+ countries, faced extreme SKU proliferation and siloed data that led to long lead times, slow quoting (about 30 minutes per configuration), and misaligned product offerings vs. customer demand. Sales, product management and supply chain operated reactively without a unified view of customer buying patterns, costing time and lost sales.

NCR deployed Emcien’s pattern-detection engine to analyze product and sales data, identify the most popular, high-volume configurations, and enable guided selling across Sales, Operations and Solutions Management. The solution reduced product complexity and quote time (from ~30 to ~10 minutes), improved sales efficiency by about 5%, and is estimated to have contributed roughly $110 million to NCR’s top line.
