TravelZoo created their own Times Square event with a street team armed with coffee and iPads

Travel Zoo worked with EMC Outdoor to create a memorable Times Square activation around its NASDAQ bell-ringing celebration. The challenge was to stand out in front of a jaded New York audience of morning commuters and tourists and get them to stop, engage, and sign up for local deal email updates.

EMC Outdoor delivered a Coffee Street Team experience in Times Square, using free coffee, snacks, branded giveaways, and iPads to drive participation. The campaign generated thousands of impressions, distributed thousands of promotional items, and collected over 600 email sign-ups in just three hours, averaging more than three per minute.
