Farmers Market Pet Foods used experiential marketing to launch their product in Chicago

Farmers Market, a new natural pet food brand, needed to break into the Chicago market and quickly connect with pet owners around its premium cat food, dog food, pet protein bars, and jerky. To help launch the product, Farmers Market worked with EMC Outdoor to find an engaging way to introduce the brand and build awareness among its target audience.

EMC Outdoor developed an experiential marketing campaign that used both permission-based and guerrilla sampling at a two-day street fair, dog parks, and grocery stores carrying the product. With a branded tent, a fall-themed setup, and free samples for pets and owners, the activation was a strong success, generating over 17,000 impressions and distributing hundreds of coupons, “doggy bags,” and treat samples over four days.
