ComEd, an Exelon company, wanted a memorable way to promote its energy efficiency message and drive entries for a holiday contest while reaching consumers in Chicago. EMC Outdoor helped create a unique out-of-home experience using a custom live display vehicle designed to look like a kitchen.
EMC Outdoor showcased “gift wrapped” energy-efficient appliances inside the vehicle and deployed brand ambassadors to engage consumers in high-traffic areas, commuter routes, shopping centers, and promotional events. The campaign drew strong attention and participation, and ComEd extended the program for an additional month, showing the impact of EMC Outdoor’s mobile media approach.
