SPIN, a Philadelphia‑based non-profit serving more than 3,500 people annually with about 1,200 employees, faced manual paper processes, limited visibility and control, and internal resistance to adopting new software. SPIN selected Emburse — deploying Emburse Chrome River and Emburse Cards — and engaged Emburse Adopt to centralize and automate expense and invoice workflows, build custom routing and approval rules, and bring structure to a previously shared corporate card program.

Emburse reconfigured SPIN’s workflows, delivered change‑management and training via Emburse Adopt, and added integrations (Amazon Business, HR) to automate receipt capture and routing. The result: digitized expense and invoice processes, stronger spending controls and pre‑approval limits with Emburse Cards, custom compliance rules and an auditable digital trail, and faster, more transparent reporting that helps finance track grant spending and streamline audits.
