Radtonics, a Sweden-based provider of private LTE and 5G networks, needed an automated solution to fully test and validate its mobile packet core. Their challenge was to perform performance and availability "sanity tests" on its network, which required checking device attachment and simulating increasing traffic loads to guarantee service capacity for its enterprise customers. To solve this, Radtonics turned to the vendor Emblasoft and its Evolver platform.

Emblasoft provided its Evolver solution as a fully virtualized platform to automate the required test cases. The software enabled Radtonics to simulate user equipment and servers, running tests that ramped up the number of attached devices, data volume, and traffic frequency.
