BSH Home Appliances Group, a global leader in home appliances, faced the challenge of validating the feasibility of "autodocking" functionality for its Smart Kitchen Dock using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology to ensure seamless integration with iOS and Android devices. To address this, they partnered with vendor EMBIQ for a proof of concept development.

EMBIQ developed the proof of concept using a Raspberry Pi to create software compatible with both iOS and Android, employing an agile approach with Jira and Confluence for tracking. The solution successfully allowed BSH to confirm with high confidence that their envisioned use cases were feasible with the selected technology. The vendor EMBIQ delivered a flexible and iterative development process that met the client's requirements.
