LabInfo Systems LLC (a Bio‑Nuclear division founded in 1994) provides laboratory IT and services across Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands and the Caribbean, supporting customers such as Immuno Reference Lab with 440+ client sites. Facing no centralized database, paper-based order/result pickup and delivery created errors, delays and low productivity, so LabInfo needed a secure, real‑time platform that could connect remote labs and support future apps.

The team built a custom LIMS middleware using Delphi for rapid, cross‑platform development and InterBase as an encrypted, low‑maintenance central database. The solution delivered real‑time connectivity across all sites, reduced costs and errors, improved service and capacity, and enabled new business opportunities—including mobile patient apps and expansion into hospitals and insurers.
