Image-Line reaches 10 million annual installations with Embarcadero Technologies

Image-Line Software, the Belgian creator of the popular FL Studio digital audio workstation, faced the challenge of developing and maintaining a complex application with millions of lines of code and hundreds of assembler functions. They also lacked native support for a large base of Mac-using music producers. The company turned to Embarcadero's Delphi development platform to address these issues.

Embarcadero's Delphi provided the solution, allowing Image-Line to directly link assembly functions to code for higher performance and enabling faster compilation and prototyping. A key result was Delphi's native support for macOS, which allowed Image-Line to expand its customer base significantly. The solution supports over 10 million annual installations of FL Studio across more than 200 countries.
