ArtGen builds 1,300 artworks with Delphi from Embarcadero

ArtGen, a project by programmer and artist Volker Diefenbach, faced the challenge of combining his passions for programming and art to create algorithmic artwork, a field for which the Embarcadero Delphi development environment was seldom used.

Using Embarcadero's Delphi to build a comprehensive VCL application, the solution enabled the creation of over 1,300 programmed artworks. The results include a powerful application with over 130,000 lines of code that manages more than 130 effects, allowing Diefenbach to explore a new world of creativity and produce art that is exhibited and sold.
