Whispering Woods Resort Improves Responsiveness to Guest Requests Using eMaint

Whispering Woods Resort is a 74‑unit vacation ownership property in Welches, Oregon, managed by Vacation Resorts International. With a small maintenance team and multiple associations each with its own budget, General Manager Pat Easterbrooks needed a better way to manage guest and staff requests, track backlogs and completions, and allocate costs to the appropriate budgets.

In 2007 Whispering Woods implemented eMaint CMMS to log work orders from guest requests and inspections, code expenses across 12 charge codes, and monitor recurring issues. Processing over 50 work orders weekly, the resort now produces periodic expense reports for associations, tracks time and productivity, and has achieved a 20% improvement in productivity and response time while keeping up with growing maintenance and housekeeping needs.
