A eMaint Case Study
Wesley Enhanced Living (WEL) operates eight Philadelphia-area continuing care retirement communities serving over 1,200 residents. Before implementing a computerized system, maintenance and tenant requests were handwritten with no accountability or standard procedures, leading to slow turnaround, frequent status calls, and difficulty producing consistent corporate and regulatory reports.
WEL implemented eMaint CMMS for its ease of use and quick data import, enabling equipment tracking, prioritized work orders, project management, mobile approvals, and email status updates. Within months WEL tripled its work-order throughput, reduced average completion time from 1.5 to 0.5 hours, improved resident service, justified staffing through labor tracking, and standardized reporting for corporate and compliance needs.
