A eMaint Case Study
DCO Energy, an independent energy developer operating 22 facilities in the Northeast, faced fragmented maintenance practices: several sites weren’t using any system, others ran different or idle tools, PMs weren’t tracked, and work was often requested on paper. The company needed a single CMMS to improve accountability, standardize processes, and enable companywide tracking and reporting.
DCO standardized on eMaint CMMS, scaled the rollout, trained super-users and mobile champions, and customized required fields, sign-in/sign-out workflows, Job Safety Analysis enforcement, and real-time reports. Today all 22 sites use eMaint (50 super-users and 144 mobile users), the shop’s motto is “No work is performed without a work order,” and in 2020 teams completed 23,671 preventive and 3,445 corrective work orders — delivering clearer cost reporting, better time/parts/PO tracking, and consistent KPIs across plants.
