Schneider Electric Provides Flexibility and Personalization for Data Center Clients with eMaint CMMS

Schneider Electric, a 179-year-old energy technology and project management firm, oversees critical data centers for major clients and needed a better way to track roughly 25,000 assets across 18 live sites. Their legacy CMMS was inflexible, non-user-friendly, and lacked customization, mobile barcode capabilities and robust reporting—shortcomings that threatened uptime and regulatory compliance.

Since adopting eMaint (customer since 2012), Schneider created a duplicable master account and private-branded client instances, trained staff with on-site support and a handbook, and rolled out the web-based, customizable CMMS quickly. eMaint captured downtime, wrench time, PM/CM/PdM data and enabled barcode-driven mobile workflows, improving data-driven decisions, OSHA compliance, and customer satisfaction.
