Pure Fishing Goes Paperless by Utilizing the Mobile Interface of eMaint CMMS

Pure Fishing, a global fishing-tackle manufacturer operating in 19 countries, needed a web-based, paperless CMMS to manage nearly 2,000 assets and thousands of monthly work orders while supporting mobile access, SAP integration, customizable screens and KPI tracking. The maintenance team sought real-time data, reduced paper, and simpler workflows to improve planning and sustainability across their Lean production facility.

They implemented eMaint (MX Mobile) with an “All In” subscription for 14 users, equipping technicians with iPhones/iPod touches and barcode scanners and customizing the mobile interface. Within a month they completed over 3,000 work orders and gained real-time visibility into scheduled and completed work, improved reporting and communication, standardized work comments, increased productivity, and moved toward a more planned, less reactive maintenance program.
