Carter BloodCare is a non-profit blood center serving North, Central, and East Texas that collects more than 330,000 units of blood annually across 30+ donation centers and a fleet of 100+ vehicles (including 20 mobile coach units). As the organization expanded, its mix of siloed asset systems and manual processes could no longer manage preventive maintenance, fleet availability, DOT compliance, and multi‑site coordination efficiently, creating a need for a single web‑based CMMS that could scale across departments.
Carter BloodCare implemented the eMaint CMMS with hands‑on support from eMaint to build a department‑wide model, deploy dashboards and mobile access, and centralize work orders and PM schedules. The result was real‑time fleet status and compliance visibility, streamlined PMs across 30+ buildings and 100+ vehicles, reduced FTE time spent on administrative tasks, improved staff productivity metrics and auditability, and better cross‑department collaboration and reporting.
