Building manufacturer selects eMaint CMMS to unite its worldwide plants

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope (OBE), a CRH company and the world’s largest integrated supplier of building envelope products, faced fragmented maintenance practices across its 33 manufacturing plants. Each site used different systems or none at all, preventing enterprise reporting, consistent continuous-improvement tracking, and efficient oversight across glass, metal fabrication, and processing operations.

OBE selected eMaint CMMS, ran pilots at four sites, and developed a flexible “golden” template with standardized asset hierarchies, naming conventions, and mobile, paperless work orders. The rollout standardized maintenance across plants, cut implementation time from nine weeks to six, enabled better corporate reporting and preventive maintenance, and delivered configurable features and inventory-control readiness that improved adoption and operational visibility.
