ARES Shipyard Goes Live with eMaint in Only One Month & Sees Immediate Results

ARES Shipyard, a leading shipbuilder in Antalya, Turkey, created an Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) division to provide contracted maintenance for client vessels across many ports. Faced with the need for a configurable, web‑based CMMS that mobile crews could access and a tight deadline after winning an eight‑vessel ferry contract, ARES needed a rapid implementation capable of importing a large dataset (about 1,100 assets, 250 inventory items and 25,000 PM tasks) and providing real‑time transparency for clients.

Working with eMaint Professional Services, ARES went live in one month, standardizing and importing data, configuring marine‑specific forms and enabling mobile uploads, dashboards and document storage. The rollout delivered immediate gains: a 67% reduction in corrective maintenance data entry, 625 annual man‑hours saved on PM paperwork, a 95% cut in invoice printing time, and improved customer satisfaction and contract compliance through full transparency of maintenance activity.
