Employee Marketing Increases Health Center Use

Premise Health, a healthcare provider operating more than 500 health and wellness centers, wanted to increase employee use of six onsite health centers for a large corporate client. The client’s 40,000 employees were unaware of many covered services and were already overwhelmed by workplace email, so Premise Health needed a better way to promote care options and drive utilization. EmailOpen’s email marketing platform was used for targeted internal communications and service promotion.

EmailOpen helped Premise Health launch targeted email blasts with flexible templates, trackable calls to action, and monthly campaigns focused on seasonal and underused services. The program generated 25% to 32% average open rates, increased overall health center utilization by 11% in the first year, and drove a 39% rise in portal registrations and a 68% increase in online appointments. Premise Health also reported nearly $1.5 million in total net savings in 2016 as a result of the campaign.
