The customer, VARUS, a major Ukrainian grocery chain, faced the challenge of modernizing its inflexible and poorly integrated eCommerce platform to support growth and provide a superior omnichannel customer experience. They engaged the vendor Eltrino to build a robust new solution.

Eltrino implemented a headless commerce architecture using Magento as the backend and Vue Storefront (now Alokai) for the high-performance PWA frontend. This solution provided deep integrations with numerous third-party systems for inventory, delivery, and marketing.
