Victor Valley Wastewater Reclamation Authority - Customer Case Study

Victor Valley Wastewater Reclamation Authority (VVWRA), a water and wastewater utility serving a 279-square-mile area in California, needed a better way to capture and preserve operational knowledge than paper logbooks and spreadsheets. To improve efficiency and make information more accessible across its facilities, VVWRA selected eLogger electronic logbook software and support.

eLogger helped VVWRA replace binders and green ledger books with a centralized digital log system used daily by operations, maintenance, E&I, MIS, and pretreatment staff. In the first six months, VVWRA tracked 62 log categories, reached nearly 10,000 entries, created 91 templates and 59 saved searches/reports, and gave 28 users faster access to more accurate information for operational and regulatory decisions. The result was better compliance reporting, more focused meetings, a shorter learning curve for new employees, and stronger overall operational knowledge.
