Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics - Customer Case Study

Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics used eLogger to help manage security communications for one of the largest events ever held in Canada, along with the G-20 and G-8 Summits. The security team needed a logging solution with strong file storage, search, date/time stamping, customization, automated notifications, and secure user access to keep pace with complex, high-volume operations.

eLogger provided a real-time electronic logbook for transcribing radio communications across 26 Olympic venues, with colored priority codes, automated escalation, and centralized monitoring. The solution helped security teams track incidents, support RCMP investigations, and manage staff disputes, while processing more than 50,000 log entries during the Olympic event alone and proving successful enough to be reused for the Toronto summits.
