VNIIKR (Russian National Plant Quarantine Center), part of Rosselkhoznadzor, needed to modernize and centralize decades‑old paperwork across its headquarters and 21 subsidiaries. Facing manual document routing, lost files, and the need for granular access, web access and easy process reconfiguration, VNIIKR chose ELMA365’s ELMA BPM platform to automate document management, databases and employee collaboration while using a Russian‑developed solution.

ELMA365 configured a customized interface, automated core routing processes (Memo, Incoming and Outgoing Mail), and built centralized registers for quarantine units and phytosanitary requirements. The deployment—now used by about 200 users across 54 business processes—cut paperwork, sped up document routing, improved schedule compliance (Memo accounts for ~90% of started processes) and made workloads more transparent; VNIIKR staff can now modify processes without outside developer support.
