Mt. Hood Community College partnered with Ellucian, using Ellucian Grants Services, to address the challenge of developing a successful grants infrastructure that could win and sustain external funding. The college needed governance, processes, and targeted expertise to pursue grants effectively and expand resources for student success.

Ellucian worked with Mt. Hood Community College to implement a grants governance process and management support, resulting in nearly $9 million in new grants in under three years. With Ellucian’s help the college now has a grants infrastructure in place, expanded funding for campus initiatives and student-success programs, and greater capacity to pursue diverse funding outside traditional mechanisms.
