St. Thomas University worked to be more effective and efficient with resources and needed to move back-end systems online to support remote teaching and learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. The university partnered with Ellucian, leveraging Ellucian Managed Services along with Ellucian Colleague and CRM Recruit to accelerate operational improvements and modernize IT support.
Ellucian helped transition the learning management system and student information system online, expand bandwidth, configure wireless access, streamline integrations, and enhance a 24/7 call center—enabling St. Thomas to move all courses and staff to remote/online in a single weekend. As a result, Ellucian’s solutions provided continuous IT support during the shift to a virtual campus and strengthened student and staff support through the upgraded call center.
