Metropolitan Community College, a 2-year public institution in Kansas City, was struggling with an outdated, hard-to-maintain ERP system that no longer supported modern student and staff needs. After surveying students and recognizing the need for mobile-friendly, more flexible technology, the college turned to Ellucian and its Banner SaaS platform to modernize its operations.
Ellucian is helping Metropolitan Community College implement Banner SaaS with support from Ellucian staff and its integration partner, CampusWorks. The migration is designed to eliminate ongoing maintenance burdens, improve the user experience, and position the college for future technology needs; MCC also expects to benefit from Ellucian’s broader client community as it completes the transition.
