Humber College, a large Canadian polytechnic with about 29,800 full‑time students, needed a modern mobile campus to meet rising student expectations and reach learners on phones and tablets while keeping implementation simple and agile. To achieve quick time to market and seamless integration with its existing systems, Humber selected Ellucian and its Ellucian Mobile (Application edition), leveraging native integration with Banner® by Ellucian ERP and minimal customization.

Ellucian delivered a branded MyHumber app that gives students access to email, class schedules, grades, notifications, account info, campus maps, news and external transit links, with single sign‑on and real‑time Banner integration; the intuitive, no‑code configuration enabled rapid deployment and dynamic content updates. The MyHumber rollout drove measurable adoption—over 12,000 downloads in the debut year and more than 10,000 additional downloads in the first three months after targeted 2016 promotion—along with positive student feedback and streamlined mobile access thanks to Ellucian’s solution.
