Universidad Abierta Para Adultos enlisted Ellucian to modernize its registration and payment processes just before the COVID-19 lockdown. The university needed to systematize enrollment, move operations to the cloud, and meet digital‑native student expectations by supporting high‑volume registrations and multiple payment options; the project used Ellucian Banner and Ellucian CRM Recruit as core solutions.
Ellucian implemented the solution using its Edge+ Methodology and Ellucian Blue Print, deploying Ellucian Banner, CRM Recruit and custom payment interfaces (bank, online via Banner Self‑Service, and campus cashier). The result was an automated registration process capable of processing up to 2,000 student registrations per day, three payment methods available to students, and improved student service and operational agility following the Ellucian implementation.
