How Tri-C Became an Early Adopter of Intelligent Processes to Automate Workflows

Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C), a large public institution, faced administrative challenges with its existing Ellucian Banner Action Item Processing tool, which struggled to handle its student population of over 15,000 for sending critical notifications. This limitation forced the college to create a custom, in-house solution to manage the high volume of student communications efficiently.

Ellucian addressed these challenges by engaging Tri-C as a beta tester for its new SaaS solution, Intelligent Processes. This no-code platform allowed for easier setup, enabled post-posting content modifications, and successfully processed large student populations. The solution, developed in close collaboration with Tri-C, provided a more user-friendly and centralized system within the Ellucian Experience portal, streamlining tasks and setting the stage for future automation across college departments.
