A Ellucian Case Study
The University of Dayton, a private four-year institution, faced the challenge of making its sticker price appear accessible to a more diverse pool of prospective students. They needed a way to reach and engage with students as early as 9th grade to demonstrate the financial feasibility of attending and to generate more qualified leads. The university partnered with Ellucian's Raise Me platform to address this challenge.
Ellucian's solution involved using the Raise Me platform to award micro-scholarships for student achievements, which personalized the financial aid process and illuminated the true net cost for each student. This allowed recruitment counselors to conduct highly informed and targeted outreach. As a result, the University of Dayton built a larger applicant pool, welcomed record numbers of Pell Grant-eligible and multicultural students, and saw that students from Raise Me applied with higher GPAs and had higher retention rates.
