Franklin & Marshall College, a private liberal arts institution, faced the challenge of maintaining an on-premises Banner ERP system, which required significant effort to manage infrastructure and upgrades. Leadership also sought improved analytics and a more seamless way for students to access information across multiple systems.
To address this, the college worked with Ellucian to transition from on-premises Banner to Ellucian Student powered by Banner SaaS. They also implemented Ellucian Experience and Insights. This solution improved access to information through a unified user experience, expanded analytics capabilities across campus, and reduced reliance on on-premises system maintenance, allowing for a greater focus on the student experience and strategic priorities.
