Fordham University faced slow, paper‑based hiring processes and overnight data updates that caused them to miss top talent. Working with Ellucian and leveraging Ellucian Ethos (alongside Ellucian Banner and Ellucian Cloud), the university aimed to integrate systems to speed hiring and stay competitive in the job market.
Ellucian implemented an integrated, centralized solution—connecting Ethos to Fordham’s talent management software and launching a digital ATS—providing real‑time, role‑specific data and streamlined workflows. As a result, 50% of recent hires came from the new ATS, roughly 900 applicants applied to 60 open positions, DEI recruitment improved, and HR gained time and resources to recruit better‑fit candidates.
