The Mohammed bin Rashid School of Government (MBRSG) in Dubai needed to modernize its student systems to support rapid expansion of master’s programs and rising enrolment. Faced with a legacy student information system that lacked self-service, comprehensive records and efficient reporting—plus a small IT team—MBRSG chose Quercus by Ellucian, a cloud-based, configurable SIS, to deliver a modern learning and administrative experience.

Ellucian (with strategic partner XpertLearning) implemented Quercus in a phased rollout beginning March 2017, with online applications live in May 2017 and enrolment in October 2017. The solution delivered self-service access, automated communications, real-time reporting and integrations (payments/LMS), reducing administrative phone inquiries, improving data integrity and accessibility for authorised staff, enabling auto-generated reports and faster data-driven decisions, and streamlining operations to boost application visibility and conversion.
