North Park University Chicago, a private four-year institution of under 3,000 students, needed to modernize and simplify its student financial aid processes and improve online communication. The university turned to Ellucian and its Ellucian Colleague® Self-Service Financial Aid solution, building on a Colleague relationship that’s lasted more than 20 years.

Ellucian implemented the Self-Service Financial Aid module to provide a real-time, student-specific web experience that guides applicants through each step. As a result, students can more easily navigate the financial aid process, requests are processed faster, and processes are more transparent—helping North Park improve student experience, support recruitment and retention, and foster student ownership of their financial situation; Ellucian continues to refine the product with regular quarterly releases.
