Seton Hall University, a private 4-year institution of 3,000–5,000, needed to enable mobile HR services using its existing HR systems. Working with Ellucian, the university deployed Ellucian Banner Employee Self-Service (Banner 9) to give staff mobile access to HR information and common self-service functions.
Ellucian’s Banner self-service solution enabled employees and supervisors to view profiles, submit and approve leave reports, and check pay stubs from their phones, with near real-time updates that immediately reduce leave balances. As a result, Seton Hall staff gained anytime, anywhere access, HR and employees saved time, and the university was able to continue using Ellucian Banner without additional systems.
