University of Louisiana-Monroe faced the threat of falling enrollment when the coronavirus pandemic disrupted normal recruiting activity. To protect their pipeline, the university partnered with Ellucian and used Ellucian CRM Recruit, Ellucian Banner and Ellucian Cloud to quickly design and execute an outreach campaign.
Ellucian helped ULM launch a one-month fee-waiver promotion (#FreeAppApril), using the CRM to set up the promotion, track applicants, and create and send targeted emails while the university promoted it via traditional and social media. The campaign more than doubled applications versus the same period last year, delivering a 155% overall increase in applications, a 383% increase in online graduate program applications, and a 144% increase in online undergraduate program applications.
