Colorado State University faced mounting operational challenges across its Fort Collins and Pueblo campuses—COVID‑19 disruptions, staffing shortages, wildfire evacuations—and needed to replace an outdated student information system at Pueblo while consolidating and modernizing processes at its flagship Fort Collins campus. Ellucian implemented two instances of Banner on a shared technology platform tailored to each campus: CSU Fort Collins refreshed and streamlined its SIS to consolidate thousands of administrative processes, and CSU Pueblo replaced a homegrown system with a new suite of tools. With Ellucian’s solution, CSU achieved a projected $400K in five‑year credit card processing savings, consolidated thousands of processes, and kept the 34‑month project on schedule and under budget despite expanding scope.
