Arizona Western College, a primarily Hispanic, rural community college serving about 12,000 students, faced slow, IT-dependent reporting that left leaders making decisions from outdated or inconsistent data. To empower non-technical staff to access real-time data and build custom reports tied to departmental goals, the college selected Ellucian’s Colleague Reporting and Operating Analytics (part of Colleague by Ellucian) and added Recruiter Analytics for Colleague.

Ellucian delivered a cloud-hosted Colleague Reporting and Operating Analytics implementation with drag-and-drop report building, 33 analytical reports, 74 sample reports and 13 persona-based dashboards, plus role-based access controls and training. The result: reduced reliance on IT (the college avoided hiring an additional FTE), increased staff productivity, timely reliable data for decision-making, and a cohesive, sustainable business intelligence strategy with measurable time and cost savings.
