HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, a large institution (19,121 credit enrollments in fall 2015), needed a more user‑friendly, flexible registration system delivered on an accelerated 90‑day timeline. HACC chose Ellucian’s Banner 9 Registration, supported by Ellucian Technology Management Services, to modernize course search, visual scheduling and mobile access for its students.
Ellucian implemented Banner 9 Registration and provided project management and systems support, enabling HACC to go live for the spring 2015 term within the 90‑day goal. The deployment required only two new servers, ran with no unexpected downtime (the legacy system was retired after one day), handled peak load smoothly, drove positive student feedback and mobile adoption, and delivered a more scalable, efficient infrastructure that supports enrollment growth and reduces time and costs.
