Lee University sought to improve student advising and increase retention but lacked a mobile-friendly, scalable advising platform. To reach more students and streamline advising processes, the university partnered with Ellucian and deployed Ellucian CRM Advise.

Ellucian implemented CRM Advise to automate early-alert management and appointment rescheduling, saving about 260 hours of manual processing per year and rescheduling 200 advising hours so the school could nearly double the number of students served. As a result, retention rose by 3% to 81% (vs. a 68% national average), yielding $456,508 in additional tuition in year one and $1.3 million over two years, while avoiding the need for additional advising headcount.
