ADA University, a public institution in Baku serving about 2,500 students, needed a modern, cloud-based student information system to replace its legacy setup and support rapid growth, mobile access, integrated departmental workflows and automated degree evaluation. After evaluating options, ADA University selected Banner™ by Ellucian to tie together admissions, registration, bursar and academic planning and to deliver a more student-centered experience.

Ellucian implemented a cloud-based Banner solution (with data-migration support from Ellucian consultants) in under 12 months, supported by a cross-functional project team and campus training. The Banner by Ellucian rollout integrated and automated key business processes, enabled online payments and self-service degree evaluation, cut manual work, reduced registrar inquiries, and allowed more than 1,000 students to register within the first two hours—while simplifying IT maintenance and enabling rapid follow-on deployments of Banner Finance and Banner Human Resources.
