Delta College drives student success and operational efficiency with Ellucian Insights

Delta College, a public community college in Michigan, needed to modernize its reporting infrastructure as it prepared to move from on-premises Colleague to Ellucian Student SaaS. Heavy reliance on SSRS reports created inefficiencies, limited visibility across departments, and made it harder to deliver timely data for strategic planning, student success, and financial aid operations.

To address this, Delta College implemented Ellucian Insights and began migrating reports early, converting more than 300 SSRS reports in five months with full migration planned before the 2026 SaaS go-live. Ellucian Insights and Data Connect enabled campuswide dashboards, broader self-service access to data, and third-party integrations, helping save hours of manual processing, reduce errors, and support more informed decisions and student-level interventions.
