A Ellucian Case Study
Duquesne University, a private four-year institution in Pittsburgh, wanted to strengthen recruitment and enrollment while building earlier relationships with prospective students and helping families better understand affordability. To address this challenge, the university partnered with Ellucian and adopted Ellucian Raise Me, a micro-scholarship and student engagement solution.
With Ellucian Raise Me, Duquesne University could connect with students as early as ninth grade, target well-matched prospects, and offer micro-scholarships tied to good academic and extracurricular performance. The results were strong: student participation grew from 2% to 11% between 2022 and 2024, micro-scholarship awards nearly quadrupled from $97,344 to $378,536, and College Scholarship Service profile submissions doubled in the last year.
