The customer, Orbify, provides a platform that enables users to build no-code, map-based applications using Earth Observation data. Faced with the challenge of finding a lean and smart solution to enhance the value of its unique proposition and manage back-end workflows, Orbify partnered with the vendor, Ellipsis Drive.

Ellipsis Drive served two key purposes: it acted as a database and backend for Orbify, enabling smooth workflow management through provided Python and MapGL libraries. Secondly, it allowed Orbify's users to seamlessly integrate their own data hosted in Ellipsis accounts, eliminating interoperability issues. The solution provided Orbify with the ability to flexibly render both vector and raster data, with the CEO specifically highlighting the easy conversion of raster data to map tiles.
