Case Study: Moreno Valley USD boosts differentiated instruction with Ellevation

A Ellevation Case Study

Preview of the Moreno Valley USD Case Study

How Moreno Valley USD added capacity to help teachers rethink differentiated instruction

Moreno Valley USD, a district serving nearly 35,000 students with about 20% English Learners, needed a better way to support differentiated instruction while managing time-consuming EL compliance work. With Ellevation, the district looked to streamline administrative processes like Reclassification and RFEP Monitoring and give teachers more time and support for meeting the needs of English Learners.

Ellevation implemented an integrated solution that moved RFEP Monitoring online and added Ellevation Strategies, giving teachers research-based instructional activities tied to student data. The results were significant: Moreno Valley USD reduced RFEP Monitoring work by about 250 days annually, cut form processing from 20 minutes to 2 minutes per student, and freed the EL team to spend more time on instruction and teacher support across the district.
